Advocating for Water Conservation in California

When California’s State Water Resources Control Board was weighing how aggressively to promote conservation regulations for urban areas, advocates grew concerned that implementation delays could leave water users with less reliable water supplies as drought becomes more common in the West.

Project

Public Good PR developed and implemented a communications campaign to encourage decision makers to embrace conservation as a leading solution for water security. In less than one month, we developed a website, generated a sign-on letter with more than 100 supporting organizations, and placed both news and opinion-side articles in leading outlets around the state.
